OWTW has been doing so well on the festival circuit, winning awards internationally, that our producers have decided to attempt a 2025 Oscar run. We have rented a theater in NYC for a week before the TV premiere to able to qualify. Such a high profile award ceremony would bring immense attention to the issues in the film on a global scale and give Alaskans the recognition they deserve!!! To qualify for the Academy Awards takes a fair bit of financing and momentum but the media attention is unrivaled!
